LILITU
Lilith is a female demoness found in over 100 different religions.
God formed Lilith, the first woman, just as he had formed Adam, except that he used filth and sediment instead of pure dust. Lilith took offence at the lying position Adam demanded of her during intercourse and left him. The angels tried to bring her back but she refused. Her role after that was to take charge of all newborn children
The Lilitu in Akkadian and Assyrian sources were figures of disease and uncleanliness. The Assyrian Lilitu were said to prey upon children and women and were depicted with bird talons for feet and wings. They were sexually predatory towards men, but were inable to copulate normally.
Lamashtu is a very similar Mesopotamian demon to Lilitu. She was said to seduce men, harm pregnant women, mothers, and neonates, kill foliage, drink blood, and was a cause of disease, sickness, and death. Some incantations describe her as "seven witches". The space between her legs is as a scorpion, corresponding to the astrological sign of Scorpio. Her head is that of a lion, she has Anzu bird feet like Lilitu, her breasts are suckled by a pig and a dog, and she rides the back of a donkey.
One of Lilith’s epithet is “the beautiful maiden” who is described as having no milk in her breasts and being unable to bear children.
In Greek mythology she is the goddess of the dark moon and
in Kabbala she is depicted as a serpent in the Garden of Eden.
